This course is designed for caregivers who will apply the sensor and attachment rings, choose the appropriate site time and sensor temperature, and manage the sensor following care.

After completing this course, you will be able to:

  • Navigate the Sentec monitor interface

  • Describe the functions of the Control Panel and Status Bar

  • Name the approved measurement sites for patient monitoring

  • Define the recommended sensor temperature and site time

  • Demonstrate or describe the process for sensor application

  • Explain how to clean and calibrate the sensor
